Why should you listen to me?
Without blowing my own trumpet to much, I am a chartered physiotherapist with 12 years NHS service under my belt and six of those years I have specialised in musculoskeletal practise.
What the heck is musculoskeletal practise?
Well in a nutshell its problems and injuries associated with your body; joints, muscles and nerves in theory.
I left the NHS to set up my own business in 2015 and I now focus my energy and attention on teaching Pilates correctly. I am trained by the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) who teach modified Pilates that is super awesome and safe for people recovering from injuries or for people who really struggle to activate their core muscles. APPI practise is based on current evidence based practise and is completely functional so you can use it day-to-day.
I am not a quick fix injection queen who alleviates pain in one shot. I am a get to the root of the problem and the underlying cause kind-of-women who then empowers through education and simple step rehabilitation.
